If you are interested in antique cars like I am, I hope you find this page informative. Bookmark this page as I will be updating as often as possible. One of the dilemmas in working with antique cars is the availability and location of replacement or spare parts. Most of us are not fortunate enough to have a machine shop in our garage so making replacement parts is not an option. Antique cars are divided into two main categories. Before World War 2 and after World War 2. Parts are much more difficult to locate for pre WW2 cars with the exception of the Model A and Model T’s from Ford. I have found that Hemmings Motor News is the definitive resource for antique car parts and restoration services. This HUGE book is published monthly and is the encyclopedia of US car colleting. Hemmings also has a number of other periodicals that are dedicated to the US car collecting market. I personally own a 1973 Pontiac Grand Ville. It is undergoing restoration.
